The CSBPS 2019 Poster Track provides a prime opportunity for researchers and practitioners to present, showcase, and discuss their most recent advances, ideas, experiences, and challenges.

Submission of Poster Participation

PhD candidates interested in participating in the Poster Session should register their intention through: https://brunel.onlinesurveys.ac.uk/csbps-2019-poster-submission by the 28th of February 2019.

Poster Presentation

All presenting in the Poster session should bring their poster printed to the PhD Symposium on the 27th of March and hang it, as it will be indicated at registration Poster presentations will be held during the scheduled networking and lunch event at the CSBPS 2019. Each participant should be present in front of his/her poster and present it to the attendees. Posters will be provided with space and equipment to attach posters. All posters can be detached by the end of the PhD Symposium.

Use the following format, or attached template to design your poster:

  • Size of the poster should be A1; i.e. 46.8 inches by 33.1 inches (1189×841 mm).
  • Poster should be in portrait orienation.
  • Poster should be readable at a distance of 1–2 m, with a line spacing of 1.5 or 2.

Include the following in your poster:

  • Title of your poster
  • Your name, faculty advisor’s name, names of collaborators, and name of department
  • Introduction (or Objectives)
  • Methods
  • Results (of Findings)
  • Discussion
  • Conclusions
  • Acknowledgments (if necessary)

Best Poster Award

There will be a best poster award based on the design of the poster and its presentation. The winner of the poster presentation will be announced at the CSBPS 2019 closing ceremony.
